This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The City of Thorold (“The City of Thorold”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for 2026-RFT-COT-05 Allanburg Community Centre Renovation Project, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City of Thorold is seeking a qualified General Contractor to complete renovations and a building addition at the Allanburg Community Centre to convert the existing facility into a multi-use building. The project includes construction of a new addition with foundation and structural components, interior demolition and reconfiguration to accommodate a licensed daycare (operated by TCAG) and separate community space with independent entrance access, roof repairs, exterior modifications, HVAC and plumbing upgrades, electrical improvements, minor structural work, and all associated finishes. The Contractor will be responsible for full construction coordination, code compliance, site safety, commissioning, and delivery of a fully operational facility ready for occupancy.
