The City of Thorold is seeking a qualified General Contractor to undertake a full road reconstruction project. The scope of work includes complete roadway rebuilding with new sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. The project will involve replacement of existing sanitary sewers and watermains, as well as installation of upgraded storm sewer infrastructure. Streetscaping elements will be incorporated into the design, including street trees, on-street parking with two designated accessible spaces and new street lighting. In addition, the project requires the relocation of existing aerial hydro and Cogeco communication cables to underground systems. The Contractor will be responsible for comprehensive construction coordination, adherence to applicable codes and standards, site safety management, and delivery of fully completed civil works ready for public use.
