This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The City of Thorold to prospective bidders to submit bids for 2026-RFT-COT-18 - 2026 Merritt Meadows Park – Phase 3 Splashpad and Basketball Court Construction, as further described herein. 

The City of Thorold is undertaking the construction of Phase 3 of Merritt Meadows Park, consisting of the development of a new splash pad, basketball court, associated site servicing, pedestrian connections, landscaping, and related park amenities. This project represents the next phase in the City's ongoing investment in Merritt Meadows Park and is intended to enhance recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. The completed works will provide a safe, inclusive, and accessible public space that promotes active recreation, community engagement, and year-round enjoyment while complementing the park's existing facilities and supporting the City's long-term parks and recreation master planning objectives.

The City of Thorold will only consider bids received from bidders who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFT directly from The City of Thorold public purchasing portal at https://thorold.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”)
